Sanitation and Hygiene Improvement Program

Recently, RWC has just launched the sanitation and hygiene promotion project under Cambodia Rural Sanitation and Hygiene Improvement Program in two provinces as This project is funding support from Global Sanitation Fund through Plan International Cambodia. The project will take for two years, end by September 2015, with partnership with Provincial Department of Rural Development. Additionally, the main approach of the project to effectively achieve the project objectives as Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), Behavior Change Communication (BCC) and School/Community WASH (SC-WASH) through supporting local authorities and local government bodies in project implementation.

Besides, RWC has run the School and Health Centre WASH project in Cambodia. Currently, over than 130 schools in rural Cambodia have implemented WASH program through rehabilitation of infrastructures and capacity building on behavior change communication toward water, sanitation and hygiene practices.
