Water supply program

Providing access to clean drinking water is a main aim of rainwater harvesting formalization in rural Cambodia. RWC promotes risk-managed rainwater harvestings system capture the large rainfall in Cambodia and store enough water to last through the dry season. The risk management approach prevents contamination during storage ensures that the water stays safe to drink. RWC has provided RWH systems for households, schools and health centres and since 2004, over 2800 household systems and over 290 institutional systems have been installed throughout Cambodia.

Besides the rainwater promotion, RWC promotes domestic use from ground water with upgradable system as extract water through solar pumping system and store in header tank. With gravity flow, household tap connection, householders pay the tariff.
